Upgradeability

Our DAO contract is implemented using the ERC-897 proxy standard, delegating all functions to the implementation contract. This setup allows for seamless upgrades or adjustments to contract functions, providing flexibility to address unforeseen bugs or adapt to evolving requirements.

This design is future-oriented, with provisions for potential changes in voting mechanisms, such as incorporating utility tokens as voting criteria or combining NFTs and utility tokens for voting. Additionally, the scope of activities could expand to include the election of subsidiary administrators or moderators for community management.

Ultimately, our vision is for the DAO to transition to full community management, wherein ownership and access rights will be transferred to a community-managed smart contract. This transition is facilitated by the proxying of the smart contract and dynamic memory manipulation.

The community-led management of the DAO is anticipated to occur within a two-year timeframe, once the ecosystem has stabilised and achieved a critical mass where individual entities no longer exert significant influence. All operations will be conducted through community consensus, with contributors duly rewarded for their participation. This model ensures a democratic and inclusive governance structure, fostering the long-term sustainability and growth of the ecosystem.
