Our objective is to ensure seamless interoperability across all major networks, facilitating swift cross-chain interactions. By harnessing fast cross-chain capabilities, we enhance our capacity to support a diverse array of games and protocols.
Within this framework, we streamline our terminology by categorising utility tokens and NFTs collectively as "tokens" for brevity.
Contracts mirroring our protocols are deployed on designated chains. Token transfer involves burning tokens from the sending chain and minting them on the receiving chain. We eschew custodial approaches due to inherent accountability concerns. Upon successful token transfer, no residual tokens or discrepancies remain.
To ascertain the overall token balance, we aggregate balances from contracts deployed across all supported chains.
For cross-chain operations, players initiate three on-chain transactions. Firstly, they approve token transfers. Secondly, they execute the cross-chain operation, triggering token burning. Finally, on the receiving chain, they call the mint function with a signed message provided by our secure server.
Our monitoring and broadcasting service ensures near-instantaneous token movement, enabling completion in less than a minute. Real-time notifications promptly inform the receiving chain upon token burning, facilitating immediate minting. While user-managed, operations can be resumed at a later time if desired, ensuring flexibility and uninterrupted functionality even in the event of connectivity issues.
