MAC (Utility Token)

At MagApe, we take our achievements very seriously. Our ultimate goal or final boss to slay will be to establish a full DAO model and attain the dream of Decentralised Gaming. True ownership and full autonomy in the hands of our gamers and game developers without any intervention on our part, thus precluding the existence of a centralised database.
Our weapon of choice – MAC, a utility token that functions as a temporary platform credit. MAC is introduced onto our platform for users to port their assets and resources from one game to another and usability across other features. With true ownership and autonomy, Game Developers will also thrive in an innovative and free environment of their assets. Marking a shift towards decentralised communication between them and players, facilitated by our token acting as a bridge. While this process could be easily executed using a centralised database, such a system would create dependencies and significantly impede scalability on our end. Straying us away from our vision and mission.
Holding ourselves to the highest of standards, MAC will adhere to the ERC-20 standards which are widely adopted by developers. MAC will only be transacted within our node contract; we will not introduce additional contracts or methods for this utility token. The lack of compatibility of non-ERC-20 contracts was placed into consideration of our many features (interoperability, cross-chain functionalities, etc). Existing bridges typically lack support for non-ERC-20 standards, thus posing challenges in facilitating transactions across different gaming networks.
Lastly, MAC serves as a representation of in-game assets and resources and will not have any intrinsic physical value pegged to it.
